G&P Builders

Well the day has finally come, after a night where we were just too excited to sleep!

The below is our experience with G&P Builders,

For over ten years we had so desired to build our own home. In Nov 2014 we stumbled across a G&P show home and knew this is what we are seeking. Yes we had trekked the countless display homes that are pumped out in huge numbers, but this is not what we were looking for. What we were seeking is a builder and team that genuinely appreciated that this project is a huge investment for us, connect and engage with us and make the journey a most memorable, enjoyable one and to remove the stress. We met Mike Garbuio at the show home, where he asked some simple questions about what we were seeking in a home. He then recommended some plans with changes to suit the large family of 8. Mike would in his many conversations would attempt to put us in the house and to visualise what something would look like.

Mike travelled with us around some potential blocks of land and talked about how the house could be sited. Wow! incredible, and we hadn’t even paid for the land at that stage let alone the deposit on the house. After the 3rd visit to a vacant block of land the process began. Mike introduced us to the wonderful support team, Mitch (our supervisor) Rebecca and Bec. Mike also set expectations with us right up front. Advised we will receive a fortnightly email from Rebecca advising what has been completed, whats about to start and any hold ups, Bec also offered to include an unrelated new shed on a covenant application form, to make things easier for us. Wow! Great job, thanks Bec! We never never had to ask for updates, again this is a business who appreciates we are spending with them and they value good communication. There was one week where Rebecca was hit with glandular fever, but ensured someone contacted us with the weeks update.

Mitch, our supervisor, contacted us regularly and confirmed our requirements. We recall one occasion when Mitch called us, advising that they are about to start the wardrobe fit outs. Mitch said, I know Nathan (our son) had an accident and in a wheelchair, is there anything we can do in the wardrobes that would make things easier for Nathan. Wow! we were totally blown away. Thank you Mitch.

In the past year we’ve met many people who are having new homes being built at Jimboomba Woods. The nightmarish stories they recount of issues with their builders make us feel all the more thankful for our fantastic experience with G&P. How wonderful too it has been all along the way having subcontractors and others reiterate what a great reputation G&P has as a trusted family builder who pay on time and deliver a great product. Keep the great work up G&P team! We’ve already started telling everyone we meet how great you are and will be recommending you to anyone looking to build a house.
